Event IconDriver’s Testing

Posted On: Mar. 13th 2006

This Event Sponsored By: Arkansas State Police

Testing for Arkansas driver’s license is performed at the Faulkner County Library but only at the Conway branch.  This testing is administered by the Arkansas State Police, not library staff.  Testing occurs only on Monday and Tuesday.

The written portion of the test may be taken in the morning any time between 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM.  This includes written testing for a CDL.

Registration for the driver’s road test begins at 12:00 PM.  Because of time limitations, only 30 road tests can be administered, so patrons are encouraged to arrive early for registration.  Road tests will be canceled if the roads are wet or weather is inclement.  The State Trooper on duty will decide if testing should be canceled.  Road tests for CDL are not provided.

Please direct all questions to the State Police Headquarters in Little Rock at 501 618-8254 or 501 618-8255. Because there is a large volume of questions directed at the following issue, the bottom of this page has the list for acceptable identification.

Driver tests may also be taken at the State Police Headquarters in Little Rock located at I-30 at Geyer Springs exit.  Their hours for testing are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – noon and 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
