BEGINNER’S YOGA

Yoga is an ancient art based on a harmonizing system of development for the body, mind, and spirit. The continued practice of yoga will lead you to a sense of peace and well-being, and also a feeling of being at one with their environment. The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible, it also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems. Yoga brings about emotional stability and clarity of mind.
Description: The beginner’s yoga class will meet once a week, every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 beginning February 27th. The class is free, open to the public, and will take place in one of the meeting rooms of the Faulkner County Library. Yoga mats will be provided free of charge. Space is limited to 15 people. Sign up is required. Patrons signing up for the class must be able to attend all 5 classes. If a patron does not attend, he/she will be dropped from the class and someone else will fill the space.
