The Notable Children's Books list is selected annually from the publishing of a particular calendar year. The list is intended to assist children in selecting books to read and to encourage them to seek out those that are considered notable among the many books available in bookstores and libraries.

Children's Book Council - Children's Choices

Each year, 10,000 schoolchildren read and vote on the newly-published children's and young adults' trade books that they like best. Throughout the school year, the books are read to or by the children; their votes are tabulated and the approximately 100 most popular titles are announced.

Juvenile Series and Sequels

The Juvenile Series and Sequels database can help library patrons find the next book in a series. This database currently contains over 850 series titles that are classified into three audiences: juvenile easy, juvenile, amd young adult.
